Another Manilla Envelope Notebook (With Pockets...)
I made this notebook from a used manila mailer and a few sheets of white copy paper (I was out of any suitable scrap paper) and a bit of twine. It is 4 inches square.
The unique feature of this notebook is that I cut the cover pages from the corners of the envelope, so that they form pockets when the notebook is assembled. These little pockets will be perfect for tucking away random "notes to self" and receipts and such.
The covers are connected by a piece cut from the flap which includes the clasp.
I made a similar little notebook a while back out of vintage yarn labels and the one below out of scraps cut from a discarded civil engineering map. The map had already been recycled (by my sister) once as gift wrap. So now it's been recycled twice.
